1. Obtain Phase I:

Real Estate as a Professional Career from the UBC Sauder School of Business located online at www.realestate.ubc.ca/sask

Phase I Cost is $2,099.00

Courses include manual, workbook, digital flashcards, practice questions, access to Course Resources website, tutor service by phone and email, and first regularly scheduled exam registration.


2. Obtain Phase II: (Phase 1 must be COMPLETED before you can register for any Phase 2 courses)

Residential Real Estate as a Professional Career – cost is $1,199.00.

Total Cost for Phase II is $1,199.00


There will be 5 regularly scheduled examinations per year in Saskatoon, Regina and Melfort in February, March, April, June, September, and December. Note: Picture identification will be required.


Both courses must be completed within 2 years from the date of purchase of Phase I. Costs for subsequent examinations is $250.00.


3. After completing Phase I and Phase II (Residential):

All individuals making an initial application to the Saskatchewan Real Estate Commission must provide the Commission with a Criminal Record Check by fingerprint comparison with their application for registration.

For Criminal Record check pick up form at Police Station. Cost is $45.00 to check database and $30.00 for fingerprinting.

Broker sponsorship is not required to complete Phase I and Phase II education, however early Brokerage support is recommended in order to avoid delays.


4. New students have two years (from initial phase 1 registration) to complete all courses and exams in their stream. In order to be registered under the Saskatchewan Real Estate Act, an applicant must successfully complete both Phase 1 and Phase 2 of the Commission’s education program.

Canadian Real Estate Association (CREA)

Saskatchewan REALTORS® Association Annual Membership Fees (pays for SRA & CREA)
$825.00 & $285.18 as this is pro-rated by 1/4 year. Pending time of year, this will be $2023.05 – $1385.18.

CREA Annual Fee  $310.00 – $77.50  prorated by ¼ of year.   THIS IS THE ONLY ONE THAT FLUCTUATES due to Prorated.

NOTE: A provisional membership is granted in the SRA pending completion of the Board’s online “New Member Education”.

Failing to successfully complete the next available “New Member Education” will result in a no-show fee of $500.00 and may result in a license suspension until the requirement is met.  A $100.00 keypad deposit must also be paid.


6. Continuing Professional Development:

This online required course must be completed by all registrants from Jan1 to May 31, annual fee is subject to change ± $325.00


7. Note: Annual membership for SRA is prorated according to start date.
